On ‘course’ for a great cause…

The Cre8 Joinery team has recently put in a ‘hole’ lot of effort in order to raise money to support a small, underfunded charity that makes a huge difference to children’s lives after transplant – hoping to ‘swing’ it in the charity’s favour by taking to the golf club for a marathon sponsored session.

The challenge was to undertake a whopping 90 holes of golf non stop… starting at an incredibly early hour of 3.45am and finishing up at 8pm the same evening… during which an astounding 398 shots were taken. What’s more, two of the four-strong golfing team even carried on to complete 100 holes!

“I’m a bit sore, especially as regards my old knees…” commented Cre8 Joinery MD Phil Gay. “But it’s been thoroughly worth it as we’re fundraising for a very small yet very worthwhile charity. They make a huge difference to the lives of children who have undergone transplants and every penny raised really counts in helping them.”
